I bought the gigabyte radeon rx 460 windforce oc 2gb and the back of box has a minimum intel core i7 3.2ghz cpu. Unfortunately I have asus p7p55 lx 860 @ 2.8ghz. example shadow warrior on ultra settings runs well so the card is running but is it being misused? will i have problems here?

You won't have problems as in you won't damage anything. They give a minimum to give you some idea of what to pair it with. If you call them to complain the card doesn't perform as fast as you think it should, they'll ask if you meet the minimum requirements.
ok cool thanks it is my main concern here that it will overload or damage or u know blow up because like i said i can run a game on ultra just tested hitman absolution which had a little screen tearing tho performed quite well smooth gameplay
