BIOS not booting up

PC not booting up - the screen lights up initially after the PC powers up and goes blank afterwards (HDMI connection to the graphics card). I've had the issue where it took ages to start booting BIOS for a while now, sometime it took up to ten (!) hours for the screen to light up and BIOS to load, yet now it wouldn't boot up at all.

When PC boots up all the fans are spinning and MOBO lights light up. I tried switching memory sticks, did nothing. I don't hear any beeping sounds at all when the PC powers up, even when removing the graphics card and RAM.

Specs:
MSI Z97 Gaming 3 MOBO
2 x 8 gb ram, Corsair XMS3
Corsair RM750 PSU
Asus AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU

The build is 2.5 years old and the problems with long boot times had been on and off for the past 1.5 years.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks.

The only thing you can do now is to contact MSI and explain your situation and all what you have tried. They will provide an RMA if still under Warranty as I think the MB needs replacing.

OK go here for Bios download and also install latest IME and chipset drivers.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z97-GAMING-3.html#down-bios.

Download Bios file to an empty fat32 formatted USB stick.
Go in to Bios and enter the M-Flash menu. Select the Bios file from the USB and system will reboot when done.

But how since I can't boot up?

Bios is normally accessible by continually depressing the DELETE key during post cycle.
Can you not get into your Bios.?

That's right. I tried holding the delete key for up to a minute - no luck there either.

I accidentally marked your last response as solved, I am still facing the issue if BIOS not loading.

Are you using a USB keyboard and is it actually working.? Do you have a PS2 keyboard to try.? Sometimes just holding down the delete key does not work, you have to press it off and on continuously.
Try clearing CMOS and if that does not work then you may have a corrupt Bios. You would have to contact MSI support as there is no other way that I am aware of.
I have cleared your last response as solved.

I tried this again pressing and holding the Delete key on and off for over five minutes - no luck.
It is a USB keyboard, I don't have a PS2 one to try unfortunately. The USB keyboard is definitely working - I tested it with my laptop.
I tried clearing CMOS by taking out the battery for 5+ minutes prior to posting here - no luck.

I'll contact MSI support, but would be great if I could try something else to try and fix it in the meantime. Thanks for all the advice so far!

The USB keyboard may work with another system however your Bios may not be initiating your USB3 connections. Try different ports. Do you have another USB device to test the USB port your keyboard is connected to.
Also 5mins may not be enough to discharge MB capacitors. With the CMOS battery removed, press the start button which should discharge them completely.

I did CMOS restart again pressing the power button with the battery removed - no luck.
I used two keyboards and tried different slot - no luck.
