I'm thinking of upgrading my PC, and I've decided I'm going to switch from AMD to Intel. My current CPU doesn't fit my needs, and I feel like an Intel CPU will perform much better. I don't do much gaming anymore, and if I do play games, they aren't stressful on my current system. Right now I'm doing application coding and web design. I prefer offline programs rather than online, simply because I'm already used to what I use, and I feel like it's much easier for me to find what I need on my PC rather than going through tons of links and different storage sites for files.

Here's what I'm planning on getting:

I might replace the fan on the H75 with one of the SP120s if I decide to experiment with that, but I plan on using as front panel intake fans.

Here's what I'll be replacing:
MOBO: Asus M5A78L-M LX
CPU: AMD FX-6300
Stock CPU Cooler

I forgot what my keyboard is called, but I had to get surgery for carpal tunnel, so I look forward to replacing this. I don't use the far right side of my keyboard much, so I'm not giving up a lot there.

I've decided not to go with Skylake since I don't have a place to put the RAM sticks I'd be replacing, and I don't just want to have them laying around. I know it sounds lame, but I really don't like to waste things.

I think this would be a pretty nice upgrade from what I currently have. Let me know what you guys think.

Alright, thanks. I was looking at that processor, but for some reason I really wanted to overclock.

I've heard that they perform like an i7 4770, but don't have an iGPU so it costs less. Is that at all true, or just a rumor?
