Hi guys.
Please help me with selection of graphics card.
I have a Asus P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 motherboard with 1x4GB & 1x8GB (total 12GB) corsair Vengeance RAM and I5 - 2500K core.

Am currently using a Zotac GT 610 synergy edition mother board ( 2 GB DDR3) graphic card but its showing signs of being outdated.

Which graphics card should i move to for better performance. Also does the DDR3/DDR5 aspect have any baring on the decision? I have no idea whats supported and whats not.

Please help!!

GDDR5 is the best you still got a decent motherboard & cpu combo go with 16gig new ram maybe new psu & find a 6gig 1060 out of asus evega gigabyte msi & that thing will go well with most the modern games being released i am running 2 sandy bridges as gamers still as good as any the new gen out

Thanks for the answer!!

can you suggest a lower (cheaper) graphics card as well. I would prefer not to make any additional changes other than the Graphic card for now.
Also, my current screen is a 21 inch VGA supporting screen. I will eventually repalce with a LED HD supported screen but not wanting to spend on the hardware other than the graphics card right now.

Please advice

Thanks
