Hi i have had a go at overclocking my i5 4690k and i think i have had success. 4.5ghz and 1.2 volts. idle temps are 36 to 37 degrees and when gaming bf1 the temp is about 62 to 63. i done a quick stress test with heavy load and temps are 69 to 70. I have a deep cool aftermarket cooler on cpu. Do you think im in the clear? Or do i need to run a stress test longer? I run test for 30mins. Any feed back will be appreciated

Temps and volts look good.
I would run a much longer stress then 30mins to make sure you are 100% stable.
My usual routine for stress testing an overclock is 2hours of AIDA64 (CPU/FPU/Cache), if that's stable i move on to a 2hour IBT (Maximum) test, once i'm happy with clocks/voltages i follow up with a 12hour Prime95 blend test to make sure it's 100% stable.

My 4690k does 4.5ghz at 1.243v.

will look at running stress test tonight when i go to bed. Been reading alot and it sounds like a lottery with different chips reacting different. I have noticed a massive different in fps in gta 5 and bf1. Pretty stoked so far. But like i said ill stress tonight let you guys no outcome. So those temps i got so far are ok?
