ok I have a Custom build, now my old Radeon HD 7900 has given up the ghost and I'm not sure what to go for, I have a Z97 - P Asus motherboard, intel I5 Quad core 3.20 Processor, 12 Gb Ram and a 650 watt power supply, I have about £200 to play with but don't really know what to go for, I'm not to fussy about AMD or Nvidia .can anyone give me a hint in the right direction?

I suggest NVIDIA EVGA GTX 9xx series... seems 10xx series are having drivers issues, but depends on your country costs, but you can get a GTX 7xx or 8xxx series for that price. easily

I used to be a ATI lover but since AMD bought them out, I have been less than happy with price versus performances.

Never heard about any driver issues but if that's the actual case than you'll have to go with the RX 400 series.
So AMD never got straight with the pricing so I am not sure if you can find an RX 480 for 199$.
But you'll have to tell us the exact processor you have anyway, so none of your components end up as a bottleneck.

I had been looking at a EVGA GTX 970, so that made up my mind, thank you :)
