I am using this wireless adapter:

CSL - 300Mbps WiFi PCI Express (PCIe) card / adapter | with MIMO technology | 2× antenna omni-directional RSMA | Realtek RTL8192CE chip set | 2.4 GHz

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00O0W3RYK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

However, there is constant ping lag, 0.4mb download speed and just very slow in general on games, etc.

I did a speed test on my laptop however, and I get really low ping, 30-40mb download speeds and no lag in games, I have the drivers installed for the wireless card,

is the wireless card faulty or am i doing something wrong?

Solution
I'm not familiar with that adapter and it's possible it could be of low quality. I'll update my post here with a bit of research.

UPDATE - It seems that WI-FI adapter is about as fraudulent as can be. It's been picked up to have fake reviews stating how superior it is to manufacturers like TP-LINK.

Yes, I did. Without the driver, it was connected but the webpages would not load, but when I installed the driver, it was working but extremely slow as mentioned in the post

Oh, okay. Thanks for this! I'll be returning this as soon as possible.

Can you share the links you used for the research
