Hi ecanobr,
I had the same issue, after much mucking around I have found the following solution:
1) The firmware that is on the COMFAST website for the CF-E380AC is not for the earlier models and is only for the latest models which has a different uboot....Somthing that is not advertised on the site at all.
2) To fix this change your ip on your pc to 192.168.1.20 with subnet 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1
3) plug your pc ethernet directly into the LAN port of the POE injector of the AP.
4) Remove the ehternet cord from the AP and hence power it off.
5) While holding down the reset button return the ethernet cord to the AP and continue to hold down the AP reset button.
6) Continue to hold the reset button down the unit will initially light up and then turn off and then eventually start to flash.
7) When the unit flashes remove your finger from the reset button.
8) The unit will stop flashing and the light will turn off. You should now be able to ping the unit at 192.168.1.1
9) Uploading the firmware by tftp did not work for me, but luckily if you use a web browser and go directly to 192.168.1.1 and you will see a firmware upload page.
10) You will need to download the original firmware, I have placed it here
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9469544/CF-E380AC_V1.0.0.1.bin
11) Allow the uni to upload and restart (it takes a few minutes) and then your AP should be visible with the default COMFAST SSID's
12) Reconfigure the AP or upload a backed up version of the settings (which I thankfully had)
13)Beers!
cheers,
Jayson
