Could anybody please help me diagnose this fault. All of a sudden every game I have just started playing at 10fps for no reason whatsoever. I have done all I can to try and diagnose the fault myself but have had no luck. Usually I would get around 30-50fps in most of my games with the same configuration. I thought it might be the drivers so I rolled back to previous drivers that worked but no luck. So then I updated to drivers that were released today, and no luck. And it isn't a CPU bottleneck either as it is doing next to nothing. I've tested my power supply voltages and they're all good. I've cleaned the PC inside and out to within an inch of it's life too. I've tried extra cooling (in the form of a big office fan and the side panel off) and this made no difference as the card doesn't run hot anyway. I've put all my settings for everything into performance mode (checked all over google for possible solutions and haven't found any yet). And on the pictures it shows RAM usage as all the way at the top. It's only at 11GB but it goes off the chart. I have 32GB so this isn't an issue. And the VRAM usage might look high in these pictures but that is just because of the game I used to get these stats. In other games where it only uses about 2GB in surround (like CS:GO) it is still doing the same thing. So it's not because I'm maxing out my VRAM.

When in surround:
I have three AOC G2460Vs set up in Nvidia surround 5760x1080.
The gpu isn't working at full capacity like it should be. It clocks itself back too.
It isn't over heating.
fps around 8-11

When in 1920x1080:
Tested this on all monitors and its the same.
Gpu running at 99%
Not overheating
fps around 80-120

As you can see from the pictures below, the gpu is just doing nothing when configured in surround but when it is configured in 1920x1080 it is working it's arse off.

System specs:
I7 6700k
Asrock z170 Extreme6
MSI GTX970 gaming 4G
Samsung 512GB SSD Pro
Corsair AX860 PSU
Windows 10 64-bit

I'd really appreciate any help with this as it is really destroying my gaming experience as ALL my games are now unplayable. Thanks in advance

Solution
I think its still worth a shot. Remove all Nvidia software using an uninstaller like Revo and then check regedit, HKLM\Software for any Nvidia folder and delete them there as well. (Make backup of your registry or export a copy before making changes)

Yes I did run some benchmarking software and it is the same. In 1080p it is good marks and in 5760 it is around 10fps

Yeah it's a 6700k so it doesn't even break a sweat in games. I've taken all OC's off. Only had a little bit of an OC on my CPU anyway and none on my gpu

When you updated drivers, did you remove old drivers first? Knowing your hardware is good in 1080p, it would seem to be a driver issue or Nvidia Surround config issue. I remember seeing a driver removal utility for GPU drivers but maybe something like Revo Uninstaller might be worth a shot to get rid of everything Nvidia, and then re-install driver and reconfig Surround.

I did remove all drivers when I rolled back because the auto rollback in device manager was greyed out. So I had to to put an older driver in. But when I put the driver on that came out today I just installed it over the old driver. But if that was the issue, and I know the old driver worked fine, wouldn't it have worked fine using the old drivers? (just to be clear I did the rollback yesterday, so the driver I'm talking about is two previous)

Plus this didn't happen after a driver upgrade. It just happened out of nowhere.

You good sir are a miracle worker. I did exactly what you said word for word and I'm back to getting my arse kicked at CS:GO in a much more playable 190fps! :D
