Hello community, my friend wants to buy a new graphics card, he has an AMD Athlon II X4 641 clocked at stock speeds.
He wants to buy an rx 460.
Will his old*rusty cpu be able to keep up with the new GPU?
If not how much of a bottleneck it will be?

CPU and GPU load are largely independent of each other. A better question to ask is, "Can his CPU play the games he wants to play at framerates he'll accept?"

Adding a faster GPU simply means he can crank up the graphics more, but it won't change the framerate his CPU is capable of delivering.

What games does he play, and what framerates will he accept?
