Hey everyone, I have a question regarding virtual memory. I've only just noticed this as I haven't opened any full system monitoring software in a while.

So, whenever I do a fresh OS install, one of the first things I do is, disable Hibernation and Page File. But today I ran HWiNFO and saw that is was using virtual memory about 5-8GB when running a game and showed 10-15GB available too. This is on Win 10 by the way.
Am I being a derp, is this something else, I thought Pagefile and VM were one and the same???

Appreciate some feedback and advice.
Thanks

So, even with pagefile completely disabled on all drives, virtual memory constantly being used to normal and fine?? Or yes it's normal, but disabling VM usage would be better??

The reason I ask is, a game I play seems to always use VM, between 3-10GB worth, and I keep getting memory leak/memory crashes. It's a freshly installed OS, a very well maintained PC so it's not full of crap, therefore I'm wondering if the VM usage is causing the issue.
