for the last 2 month or so i cant exactly remember how long its been making a undescribable noise to me. i havent cleaned out my computer of dust yet so im wondering if that could possibly be what is causing this to happen. i would appreciate it if you could give me some insight into it.
The noise isnt constant it happens at random and im afraid it might be something serious.Ive unplugged my hdd and the noise is still there if there and now there's sort of high pitched hiss coming from my computer. Link to the sound not hissing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avbbUFbPGXI

Its not so much a ticking noise more like something is blocking the fans and a ticking noise combined is the best way i could put it if you havent watched my video on it. i would like it if you went and watched it.

something must be hitting the fans. Test each fan and report back. If neither., test psu with wire or jumper. If not that than It is the CPU cooler

I have listened to the sound from the video clip you posted.
To me it sound like a mechanical hard disk drive and the read and write heads of it going from its parked position where the heads are removed from the disk platter to avoid and damage. Re engaging to read or write data to your hard drive Jerky.

It can sometimes be very noticeable when your hard drive is fitted or is screwed to the 3.5" drive bay of the case.
In some cases it happens when there is a bad sector on the disk platter and the drive re sets the read and write heads of the drive due to corrupted data on the part of the drive it is attempting to read or write too.

If you have not done a disk error check then right click on the all of the mechanical drives you have in the system and do a forced disk integrity check of all the mechanical disks you have in your system.
Restart windows after setting the checking up, and see if it corrects files or orphaned files on any of the drives, or reports any errors on any one of the drives.

If it says it could not repair a sector or cylinder then it is the cause of the ticking you are hearing.
You need to let windows mark that sector or cylinder not to be used anymore.
To stop the drives read and write heads from resetting .

Ok i read what you said and i watched a ltt video on it and it said that phsyical trauma is very very bad for it and when i first got my computer i was setting it down and dropped it, it wasnt enough of a dropping distance to hurt any hardware i say it was from half to 2 and a half cm drop distance on my hardwood floor. could that be a possible conflict if so can i repair it from that if not i can easily get another hdd i have nothing stored on that as of now all my files are on my ssd if needed i will buy another hdd, thank you for helping me out btw
