How can I remove XP boot details from Vista?

Apologies for posting this twice. First post was in wrong section (Win 7)
I was clearing my late wife's laptop of data to donate it to charity. In a senior moment I accidently put in an XP boot disk instead of Vista home. I realised after a couple of minutes. Now a dual boot option comes up showing Vista and XP Installation/Upgrade. Going into BCDedit does not show the XP entry, I've also tried Easybcd and that also only shows the Vista details. I don't know where else to look. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Solution
If this is a clean setup, boot off the right media, before setup starts fully you will see disk options, go to advanced, delete all partitions, then start the setup.

Thank you hang-the-9. You are spot on with your answer. This cleared the partitions for a nice clean boot and re-install.:)
