I was planning to buy a Keyboard for my Gaming pc which is Build with NVIDIA MSI GEFORECE GTX-970. I am new to mechanical keys and very sadly i cant test Cherry MX or Razer keys in any Shops near me.. So Im in a stand still between Razer BlackWidow X and Corsair Strafe RGB. I really dont know which would be good? Since i am using Rubber Dom for my hole life i really have very low knowledge abt them.. I know Razer uses New Razer Green Switches(NOT CHERRY MX BT EQUIVALENT to Cherry MX-BLUE SWITCHES) and Corsair Strafe RGB comes with Cherry MX SWITCHES(Red,Brown and Silent) i really don't know ups and down abt them all that much. Bt i want a keyboard which would be long lasting.. so please give me y r advices... Thannkx

I'd get the Corsair Strafe RGB over that Razer. The Corsair is extremely solid and has lots of new features, plus it looks cool as hell. Going from dome switches to cherry mx is amazing. You'll never want to go back. Which switches to get? I suggest Brown or silent. I use Brown and love them. If the click sound bugs you or will be used in a room where others are then get the Silent.

Does the MX-Silent Switches has tacktile feel like Brown Switches?

I tried the Ducky Silent and Brown switches. The Ducky Silent I think were tactile. I loved how smooth and totally silent they were. As soon as I tried them I wanted them. However, Ducky didn't use them in their RGB models. But I can't comment on Corsair Silent as I've never touched them.
