the nvidia FE 1060 fits perfectly, this is the one you want because of its blower type cooling

your case has terrible air flow so dual fan type solutions would cause heat issues

If a 960 will fit, then a EVGA 1060 SC will fit. They have the same power consumption and a reference 960 is larger than EVGA 1060 SC. But you really need to get a better power supply. A 960/1060 requires a 400W recommended.

A power supply upgrade isn't an option for the OP. The Alienware X51s are console form factor systems that are powered by a proprietary external power brick, with only 220 Watt and 330 Watt options offered by Dell. A power supply upgrade would require transplanting all the hardware into a standard form factor case, and even then there might be difficulties if Dell has some proprietary internal connectors in use as well.
