I have a fairly new system. It instantly crashed upon running a stress test in AIDA64 or any of the 3 tests in Prime95. The computer also tripped my battery backup upon failure (1600 w max load). It also will refuse to turn on from time to time. Memory is good (tested in Memtest86 and in another system). The system is not overclocked.
Specs are as follows:

Motherboard: ASUS P9X79 WS
CPU: Intel Core i7-3930k
Memory: 32 GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1600 Memory
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 8400GS
PSU: EVGA 1000 GQ
CPU Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo
Case: NZXT Phantom

I have flashed the latest bios and have the latest drivers. I have also changed out the PSU to make sure it wasn't faulty. It seems to be in the motherboard. I am going to see if I can get another motherboard and try that.

It was an electrical short in the motherboard. It also took out the RAM and original PSU upon starting the stress test. It seems that I just increased the speed that it failed at by starting the stress test.
