First time building a gaming pc and not really good at this kind of things. Hopefully someone can help

You're mixing an intel CPU up with an amd motherboard

You news to swap the board to an h110 board to run the pentium or swap the CPU to an amd 860k to run on the fm2 board you listed.

What's your country & budget ??

dont bother with the Pentium get an i3 make use of hyperthreading theoretically gives you a quad core better for decent gaming pentuims are a waste it may cost a bit more but the i3 will last for gaming where the pentuin barely handle most the newer threaded games coming out

Yes , for a new socket Intel you need a h110 or b150 series board.
