Hello, my wifi on my desktop computer is completely wack.

I have a AC1200 DWA-182 and only recently it has been acting up to the point where I basically can't do anything on the internet. I'll get massive ping spikes out of no where and be unable to load pages for 5 - 10 seconds and then it will be okay for maybe 20 seconds and repeat so on and so on.

http://

The last thing I remember doing was downloading bluestacks and playing a game Called "Shadowverse" A day after my internet started being clunky and I uninstalled bluestacks with little to no performance increase afterwards.

I have reset my router and unplugged the adapter multiple times with no improvement and I have also scanned my computer for viruses with no results.

This has been going on for a month and it happens every so often, every other machine in my house has no wifi problems.

Edit: I have also tried reinstalling the drivers for the adapter

Solution
USB adapter - correct?

You might try using a USB extension cable to move the adapter up and about in order to change the reception. It could be that the wireless adapter is aging and degrading. Not able to send or receive as it orginally could.

Try another wireless USB adapter if you have one. Or move your existing adapter to another computer. See if the problem follows the adapter.
