Asrock G31m-s With Xeon X5460 Cant Oc Help!

I did a mod to my mobo so i can put 771 cpu "x5460" to 775 socket i did that everything works fine but this cpu is very powerfull when its oc'ed but i cant overclock it at all default Ghz is 3.16 and i only could get 3.28Ghz if i try to go a bit higher my system wont start. I got "Scythe Katana 3" cpu cooler my temps on 3.28Ghz maximum on prime95 is 44C i really could oc a lot more and my fan is only set on 68% PWM speed on "SpeedFan" .

A bit of a Necro post but. The ASR mobo only officially supports 95w cpus, and the "x" draws a lot more, so it could be the mobo power regulators are stopping you oc'ing.

Having said that, I have the "e" version of the chip, and I cannot get a stable oc of more than 6%; after a random amount of time it will bluescreen, even after passing 10-20 minutes of burn stress testing (max T = 36C).
