My specs: Motherboard- MSI B150M Bazooka Plus
HDD- Western Digital 3.5" 1TB Blue
I'm installing windows from a usb stick. My Hard drive is showing up at the BIOS but not at the windows 7 installation. I tried moving my sata cable to a different port but it didn't help. I also tried cleaning the HDD through the console but no help from that either.

Hey there, @Silver36!

I'm sorry to hear about detection issues with the WD Blue. I'd recommend you go to BIOS and try swapping between the SATA modes (IDE to AHCI and vice versa). Another thing that could help is updating BIOS to the latest version available on your motherboard manufacturer's official website. You mentioned that you swapped the SATA port, but I'd also suggest you try using a different SATA cable as well. Have you tried a BIOS reset as well?

Hope these help you. Keep me posted with the troubleshooting!
