That will work finely. I think that would be listed as one of the top 5 gaming CPUs for sure and 16 GB is plenty.

Which Games do you normally play??.Whats your monitor Resolution and refresh rates.Your CPU is good and should handle games really well.Most of the games today are becoming graphics intensive rather than CPU intensive so you might not have problem with CPU to begin with.1070 is a good card however if you can answer some of the questions above i can really suggest you a good card which can meet your needs.
