I have a "ECS H61H2-M4" motherboard and my processor is an "Intel Pentium G2020". It runs with an nvidia Geforce 210 (1gb); My purpose is to upgrade this into a gaming PC with low cost which can withstand all latest games at medium settings.

Is it possible to upgrade my processor with the current motherboard that Im having ?

What all necessary changes do I have to make to currently build a gaming PC with what I have.

Here is a list of supported processors for your motherboard:
http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Support.aspx?DetailID=1478&CategoryID=1&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=24&LanID=0

It looks like the motherboard is limited by the wattage 0f the processor.
Your G2020 has a passmark rating of 3414 and a single thread rating of 1132.

For most games, the single thread rating is most important.
Modern games will run better with 4 threads vs the two you currently have.
One option is something like a I3-2120 3877/1685.
At the other end would be a I7-3770S 8889/2021.
Google other options with the keyword passmark to find their ratings.
If your games are multiplayer, the total passmark rating is more important.

On the graphics side, fast action games need a very good graphics card.
I would start with at least a GTX1050 card.
How strong of a card you can use will be limited by your psu.
Here is a chart for your options:

I have decided to go for an Intel Core i7-3770S processor. I will change my graphics too. My rams a bit low ie 2gb;
How much RAM can my motherboard support ? And what RAM should I go for ?

Your motherboard can support up to a 2 x 8gb kit of ddr3 1600 speed ram.
If your windows is a 32 bit version, you will not be able to use more than 4gb.

Plan on replacing your 2gb of ram; it is no longer useful.
Go to a ram web site and access their ram selection app.
Enter your motherboard and you will get a list of supported ram kits.
Look for a 2 x 4gb kit of ddr3 1600 speed.
