Hello,
So i was trying to upgrade my CD/DVD drive on an old computer i had laying around, but i noticed something. The L-Shape SATA connector had cracked and the part was stuck in the SATA cable. The pins were visible on the DVD drive.
So i need some help. How do you get the broken piece out of the connector so I can upgrade the drive?
I tried using a thin screwdriver but it didn't work. The part got out halfway through but it got stuck there.
PS: I don't plan on needing the old CD drive. I just wanna take out the part from the cable so i can upgrade my drive.
Any suggestions?

Solution
Why don't you just buy a new SATA cable? They cost like $1 USD. It's probably better than the risk of using a damaged cable which still has something stuck in it.
