I built a computer for my wife, and when I was ready to start it I hooked up my mouse keyboard an a monitor to finish the setup, and nothing that I plug into the I/O panel or the front of the computer works. there is power to the motherboard(CPU fan is spinning and so are the harddrives) The motherboard is an ASRock FM2A78M-ITX. I have a feeling it's a processor problem, but I really don't want it to be. ha. Please help.

I'm not getting anything. No recognition of any input to the monitor.

Thank you so much! I have ordered a new processor with integrated graphics. Would you have reason to believe that this new processor would fix the lack of power to the USB ports?

Processor: AMD A10-7700K Kaveri Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket FM2+

A new processor won't fix the problem of lack of power to the I/O panel because they're not related in that manner. Certainly not as in a CPU provides power to the I/O connections way.

If you haven't already it's probably best to check the motherboard manual to see if you've connected the various wires to the I/O panel correctly. Usually the most fiddly part of building a PC and due to the small size of the connectors, also easy to get wrong.
