Hi, I would like to upgrade my PC on a budget and after some research, I found these two options. They're both systems of sorts.
The first one would be an i5 2500K with an MSI P67-GD65 + 16gb of Corsair Vengeance (2x4 at 1600 mhz and 2x4 at 1866mhz) and an aftermarket cooler for the CPU.
The other one would be an i7 3770 with an ASUS P8Z77-V LK and with the stock cooler. Both of them second hand, and both priced at around 220 EUR.
Now, my questions would be, which one is the best for gaming, and is any one of them a good deal? I would like to use this system for at least one year and I'm ideally looking for ~60fps at 1080p ( from the standpoint of the CPU since I also plan to upgrade the GPU later, right now I have an HD 7850 2gb). My current system would have to be replaced, since it's AMD based(except for the HDD and GPU for now). It is an AMD Phenom II B35 together with 8GB DDR2 RAM, a GA-M720-US3 and a pretty bad 450w PSU.
Currently I have 3 2GB DDR3 modules laying around, a pretty big case and I will also buy a new PSU, I was thinking of something around 550w. Also, if I decide on any of those two, In the future I would like to overclock the CPU, so this should also be kept in mind(I mean that with the i7 3770 I would also have to buy an Hyper 212 or something like that, even though it's not an unlocked one).
Finally, if there are any suggestions at the same price point I would be open to that as well. Thanks!
