Hello,
This is my first post to this website. I am kind of excited to finally join after actively reading on here for a while. I just recently purchased a gaming PC for my son (iBUYPOWER WA550G) and I am excited to see how it performs compared to the old setup I currently am using haha. If anyone has any experience or thoughts on that pc let me know, would love to hear!
The reason for my post is for the pc I am currently using. It can not handle some of the games like it use to and constant crashes occur. This happens on even some of the lowest graphical settings. Also, using Windows 10 seems to have created problems as far as keeping the driver upated, it will automatically roll back to an old driver. Microsoft told me that it is because that is the last driver they have confirmed compatible even though NVIDIA clearly states its the latest driver update for "Windows 10".
Either way, my main questions are;
How do I know which one will be compatible?
How will I know if it will fit my current mother board and tower correctly? (sorry if that sounds funny)
Do I need to upgrade the power supply? (It seems to be working much much muuuch harder these days.
Am I better off getting a completely brand new setup?
Hopefully someone can help me out here lol. I am really hoping I do not have to purchase an entirely new pc. If you have any questions let me know and I can do my best to answer them. Looking forward to some responses, thanks!
Processor: Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz
Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0x231R
Memory: DDR3 8GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 260
