Hello,

I purchased and used a SanDisk Ultra II 480 GB SSD (Model: SDSSDHII-480G) for approximately one (1) year without issues. Recently, however, I stumbled upon a BSOD when under normal use. After turning on and attempting a restart the system will not recognize the SSD in question.

When I took out the SSD and placed it in an external drive enclosure, the SSD is still not recognized.

Is there anything that can be done before I declare the drive fully dead and any content on the drive non-recoverable?

Thank you for your time.

Bummer. Sounds like it failed. I had a small Sandisk SSD that also lasted a bit over a year. (maybe closer to two years) But it too failed to be recognized after that time.

Hi,

Yes, I am using a USB 3.0 external drive enclosure.

I will try another system and post updates.
