So I've bought half used pc with these specs:
CPU: i3 540
GPU: AMD 7870 HD
RAM: 4GB DDR3
Motherboard: ASUS P7P55 LX
Now I know this pc is not even close to todays standards, but still it runs games that i wanna play(dota2, skyrim, csgo, wow, etc..)
Now my plan is to upgrade it a little bit, i was thinking of buying 4gb of ram asap to have 8. And Cpu is kinda trashy but motherboard supports 1156 socket which is old, so the best thing that i was able to find is i5 760 for 32euros only lol, but i've compared them on CPUboss and the ratings kinda don't make sense (http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-760-vs-Intel-Core-i3-540), if that i5 isn't good enough is there any that can improve this pc or do i need to save completly for new motherboard?

For performance the i5 760 easily beats the i3 540. The only improvements for the i3 is that it has a built in gpu, but that doesn't matter as you have got a much better graphics card. Also it uses less watts but I wouldn't say its as energy efficient as it has half the cores. For benchmarks the i5 beats it all around so that looks like a good improvement to me. But it is really up to you as you can only get around £12.50 for the i3 on ebay but if you can sell it you will be getting the i5 for 15 euros so that's pretty good going for a big performance change while gaming. Hopefully you get the best you can. If you liked my answer like our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PC-AE-Nottingham-511268209071472/?ref=bookmarks or PC A&E...
