Currently running the system specs below. I am wanting to upgrade my GPU (750 Ti) for a more powerful upgrade (NVIDIA 1070). I am worried with it being a more powerful GPU that my PSU will not be able to handle it. Confirmation or information, would be great. Thanks!

PSU: CX600M ATX Power Supply (Corsair, CX Series)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Z87-HD3 (SOCKET 0)
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770
RAM: 16GB DDR3

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (WANTING TO UPGRADE TO NVIDIA 1070)
Storage 1: KINGSTON SV300S37A120G
Storage 2: SEAGATE ST31000524AS
Optical Drive: ATAPI iHAS124 C

Just wanting confirmation if my PSU will run the spec above with a 1070 replacing the old 750Ti.

There is absolutely no reason to be encouraging the OP to get another power supply when the one he has is working fine and is perfectly capable of running his hardware. His system is going to run about 375W at load and a 600W Bronze rated PS with a relatively strong single 12V rail is going to do just fine. Stop with the unwarranted FUD...

Any recommendations?

I will also wait for more info/confirmation from other users.

What are the downsides of running with my current psu with the 1070 gpu?

using your links sent, along with the watt calculator, I inputted my spec with the 1070 and it barely reaches 400-450 watts, my psu also has more than than enough of watt, dc input and output to run my system with the 1070, I've had this psu for more than 2 years I believe and is still running fine. Thank you for the advice, i will be purchasing the 1070 upgrade to my system.

Like I said before, I'm sure it will work fine. It's just not recommended to run a high-end GPU with an entry-level PSU.

*But at least the CX600M is a on the better side of entry-level PSUs. It's not as low of quality as I originally thought.
