like the graphic card, cpu processor, power supply etc. i want to upgrade a lot of those parts. my pc is a Gateway DX4370G-UW10.
first you find out what cpu you currently have, and the motherboard make and model
then with that info you go and look which cpu's are compatible for an upgrade, and whether the motherboard has a proper pcie slot
then you find out the make and model of the power supply
this will let you know if it is good enough to power the gpu you want
then you open your case and measure the space, to make sure the gpu you want will actually fit inside
