You can use it just fine. SATA3 devices are backward compatible with SATA2 interface.
You won't get the 600 MB/s read/write speeds the SSD can do but you can have the 300 MB/s read/write speeds that is the maximum of SATA2 protocol. Either way, SSD is much faster than HDD.
