Hello Everyone,

I have a Digilite dl-B75M motherboard with an i5-2310 @ 2.9 ghz and Gtx 560 ti , Corsair cs 650m psu

i have upgraded my gpu from gtx 560 ti to Gtx 1060 , well to install my new gpu i had to do a bios update since my mobo was an old one. When i plug in my 1060 the computer just used to boot the mobo manufacturer name and it goes "No display". Then i got to know it was the bios update issue.

I couldn't find any bios update from my manufacturer so i have contacted their customer support. Then they have suggested me to update the bios using the Foxconn digital motherboard manufacturer as they have re-used the same company mobo.

I downloaded the bios 2015 version from the foxconn digital and i have updated my bios , at the end of the update i got some issue related "Bios could not flash" which i don't remember. but when i have restarted after adjusting the jumper on my mobo the gpu was working fine and my card was detected. Also checked in the system information that my bios update was actually installed showing the latest version date which was 2015. My old update was an 2012 version.

But now some problem arises maybe because of the partially installed bios. Sometimes my motherboard doesn't detect my mouse , Keyboard , gpu port . When i restart it comes back fine again. Sometimes it turns on and detects everything without any issues. Some times it just boots up popping no display. My psu is new and is completely fine before the bios.

Re installing the bios update might help? I need help.

Hi,

Did you try to reset your Bios (Like by removing the battery on MB)?

What I would do in your position:
1- Reset Bios and dont update
2- Make sure to remove old GPU driver completely using different software other than Windows Uninstall.
3- Install GPU and turn on PC and see if it works or not.
3-1- If it works then just install the correct GPU drivers
3-2- If it doesn't then Update BIOS but make sure your installing the correct one.

Regards,

Yeah ill try re-installing the bios and if that doesn't work ill upgrade my cpu itself xD i have already replaced the hardisk , since there were lot of abnormal restarts and the number of bad sectors are way too much in my hardisk which resulted in complete death.
