I have a gtx 1060 for 3 monthhs now. It worked amazingly with 1595ghz on idle and 2110 on load.
Recently i got a problem with skyrim special edition so I uninstalled the drivers with an external program and reinstalled them again. Now when i monitor my gpu with MSI Afterburner, my core clock is 240 on idle and fluctuates a lot. in game with full load it fluctuates between 1000ghz and 2110 ghz. Can somebody tell me what the problem is?

Yeah everything is fine but I thought that it was a little strange that i got 2110 mhz before and a stable 1595 mhz on windows... ?

Not sure why you got 1595 mhz in windows, but your GPU clocks are perfectly normal if you aren't experiencing low FPS or anything.

Ok Thank you but is it healthy for the card to flucuate that much?

Can't read the labels (other language) but I assume what the meant. Your clocks were fluctuating with your GPU usage, so that is completely normal. Are you doing anything such as opening new tabs or watching videos or even having a game open but not up?

The hole graph was when i was gaming. i got chrome and skype open but still. Shouldn't it be just stable while gaming?

Not always, especially if you locked the FPS to a certain amount or your game did it for you.

for example, if your GPU can display 120 FPS but you locked it to 60 FPS, it will lower the clockspeed to save power and heat.

Ok thank you for your help. I will test some other games and I will open a new thread if I find more problems.
