Aftermarket CPU cooler or stock?

Hello,

I'm planning to buy i5 6600 for my build.

Do i need an aftermarket cooler or the stock will be fine?

Also how high will be the temperature(full load) with the stock cooler?

if it is the non K version of the chip then the stock cooler will be fine even with turbo mode enabled

The stock should be fine as it's a non-k CPU. If you're having misgivings about it--you can grab a $25-30 aftermarket cooler. As for temps, I'm not 100% sure but they won't break thermal margins.

The stock will work fine. Temperatures will be a bit higher when compared to an half decent aftermarket cooler. You might also have more noise.
