I built my first pc this week, but after installing all parts it didn't work. I have very carefully removed all parts and built them in once again super carefully but nothing seems to work. I have checked several troubleshooting guides and done all steps but im literally clueless right now. Like i said when i plug in the power cord and turn on the pc, all parts seem to be working (cpu and graphics card fans start spinning, the lights on the motherboard go on) but my monitor doesnt get a signal. I have already tried plugging my hdmi cable directly in to the motherboard but that did not work either.

My specs.
- nzxt phantom 410 case
- i7 6700K
- msi geforce 1060
- corsair rm750x
- asus b150 M
-8gb kingston ddr4 ram

Solution
I think you may have you answer. Looking at the part number provided, the ram you have looks to have ECC integrated, and is generally for use in servers. The i7 6700k doesn't support ECC RAM. I'm nearly certain this is your problem and why your pc won't POST.

My friend told me it might be the ram card. That its not compatible with my motherboard. The model number is: pmem-kth pl421

Glad you figured it out, though your friend helped just as much as I. I know that certain brands and speeds can cause issues with certain boards not POSTing, but I wouldn't have guessed it would end up being ECC memory if you hadn't listed the model number. BTW, nice build specs :)
