After about a week of searching the internet, carefully reading reviews and searching website I think I found a fair 600$ USD build that isnt too expesive but leaves room for upgradability. I want to but I cant spend over 600$. Ive never even owned a desktop before so i need feedback, do you think this is a good build for modern games like BF4 or CS:GO on medium settings @ 720p?

The 600$ build:

you think that the i3 6100 is a better value? i did research its cheaper and now much less powerful. leaves more room for a better card.

The i3 6100 is a better value than both the i3 6320 and the i5 6400.

It's a pretty solid build for your budget, but you are going to be pretty limited yes. 720p gaming on medium-low settings should be achievable though.

This is a better card http://pcpartpicker.com/product/NMqdnQ/evga-video-card-02gp43753kr but 2GB VRAM will limit you, and your PSU isn't exactly the most reliable. You may also be better going for a hyper-threaded 3.9GHz i3 6320 and spending the saving on extra RAM too.

The 460 is a lot faster than a 750ti. The build I posted would destroy 720p and be really good at 1080p.

You should drop to the i3 6100 and get a RX 470 or GTX1060 if you think you are going to upgrade to a 1080p monitor sometime soon though. Avoid the i3 6320. It's a terrible value.

It's only about £20 more than the 6100 but yeah either would be a smarter choice. I agree regarding the rx 460 though, but not a lot in it and the VRAM will limit any new game. Didn't think it would be in the price range tbh. Adjectives like destroy and terrible are a little far fetched though..

EDIT - Actually I was looking at the i3 6320 before VAT. Is actually quite overpriced lol
