Hello guys i currently have some very LOW quality PSU from '08 and i need a new powersupply for this PC: I live in ireland and id like to buy from amazon UK.
i3 2100 (Soon will become an i5 2400)
8GB HP RAM DDR3
250GB HDD
500GB HDD
GTX 780 Reference
Asus P8P67

My budget is max 50 euro. I was thinking of an Aerocool 500W PSU or maybe a Coolermaster B500 v2.

Thanks in advance

No nothing Aerocool. That thing is a joke. The B500 V2 will work but it's not too reliably built. Spending 10 more euros for the Corsair CX450M gets you way better reliability. Just 25% increase in price gives you probably double the reliability.

Don't listen to Amazon or Newegg reviews for PSUs ever. :) That is not how PSU quality is determined. Listen to the profesisonals who actually test this stuff. Those people on Amazon very often think their PSU is bad when it isn't, it ends up being the motherboard or they make an error in the building process and blame it on the PSU.

the CX450M can provide 37.4A, the video card requires 42A or am I missing something?
if you put that PSU in with that card, when the card needs power the system will reboot, the CX450M is not a viable unit.

the CX550M or the S12II can power the card if you change the GPU then the issue disappears but the 780 is a hungry card
