So gonna keep this Brief, buying new power supply for this computer

https://gladiatorpc.co.uk/configure/config/65215

going from 600W to 550W changing at the same time to 16gb of ram.

But on the current graphics card i like to turn on overclocking if that effects the wattage i need? I dont know.

P.s this is a small upgrade so i can go onto a gtx1070 later would 550W be enough.

P.P.S.S i'm a computer noob. be gentle.

Hi silverblade1223 :) Dont very often see a downgrade proposition.

The AeroCool Integrator 600W PSU is not a PSU I would recommend. I have not seen a pier certification nor a good review for this PSU. The PSU is the lifeblood of your system and not to be underestimated and OCing demands more Watts.

Why do you want to downgrade the unit yet add more hardware.?
Get yourself a Seasonic gold certified unit of 600W and you can't go wrong.

550w would be more than enough, and a very good idea if you improve the quality, as that'll count more than the wattage when overclocking anyway.

Also doubling RAM will get a lot more from your system, especially if gaming is something you want to do.

Okay so im probably going to go for an upgrade later down the line in terms of getting a gtx1070, so i'll go for a 600W just to be sure. Can you guys suggest any good power supply brands?
