here are my specs.

intel core i5 6500
1x8Gb corsair vengeance ddr4 2400 mhz
asus h170 pro gaming
MSI gtx 1060 6GB
corsair cs 550m PSU

i have update the GPU drivers to latest using geforce experience and also my system is running windows 10 with latest anniversary update. The problem is i'm seeing heavy browser crashes on both edge and chrome where youtube videos will show black squares and lines or just freezes making the browser to crash. After i disabled hardware acceleration this problem was solved .so is my graphics card a problem or what?

Solution
Make a USB linux drive and boot to it and see if the card performs in a new environment. Doing this will remove the current drivers from the equation and test the hardware. If the card still falters in linux the chances are high that the card is at fault.
