More about ssd
  1. Drevo x1 is going to be a chinese drive most likely manufactured by kingfast.

Nothing wrong with them , based on 2 year old controllers.
Not the fastest drive but not the slowest, at a push I'd certainly take the 240gb drevonover the 120gb Kingston if they're the same price.

The issue here is that for $70 you can get an mx300, its 275gb, very fast , & branded.
That extra $10 gets you much more for your money

ok thank you soooo much so the speed of any SSD i want to compare is just looked at the read and write speeds right?

also the thing is with that money like $70 can get me a way better cpu or gpu which is why i am really looking for something cheap and fast like 120gb will do tbh somethign that is $50 i really what im looking for

  4. Just looked at the drevo x1, its a kingfast drive definitely.
I've used one myself a few months ago but it came branded as hectron.

Nothing wrong with it at all , fast enough , indistingushable in use from sandisk ssd plus & Kingston hyper drives I've also used.

Ignore advertised speeds mate honestly , they're best case bench scenarios not real world speeds & really mean nothing.

Essentially all ssd's are fast full stop.

Drevo, kingfast, kingdian, hectron - all exactly the same drive mate.
