i7 6800k 4.2ghz at 1.27v
Corsair H115i
Asus strix X99
Gskillz 3200 c16 4x8gb kit
gtx 1060
Fractal design S

I need to hear some advice on what I should be doing exactly because this is my first build and I'm by no means an expert. I just want stock reliability.

Currently at 4.2ghz at 1.27v and finally got a one hour pass on OCCT cpu:linpack at 90% ram. Temps max at 77c.
In other tests I was able to hold the same voltage and run it at 4.3ghz and it passed 2 hours of Asus realbench.
Testing OCCT Cpu large data set right now.

Is it good to go? Or what should I do?

Interesting.

I'm rocking
6800k @ 4.2Ghz - 1.3V (I was going to test lowering it as it's currently quite stable at 1.3 or attempt to increase clock speed since 1.3 handles 4.2 well atm but can't access vios due to keyboard not working upon bios stage of boot up)
H100i v2
4x8gb Corsair Veng LED
Asus Strix 1070
H440

My CPU is averaging around 57c in Realbench and around 59/60 for Aida64. Max temp randomly hit 67c but rarely ever see, curious as to how your temperatures are 10c more than me yet I'm higher voltage.

Hey bud, that stability didn't last very long. I eventually had to keep bumping up the voltage to 1.30-1.31v. Not long after, that chip died.

With a new chip I'm at 4.2ghz and 1.29v and it has passed 12 hour runs of everything. The ram is giving me problems though I've been running it at default. If you're stable, id leave it as is because that's what most of these chips are doing (4.2 at ~1.30v)

As for temps, tests like OCCT linpak, intel burn test, and Prime95 (v26.6) test the thermal capacity of your system and will get the chip the hottest. With my new chip, the max was 73c in OCCT and IBT with max of 60 something in Realbench. My case is closed off with only one exhaust fan at the rear, just something too keep in mind when comparing temps.

Ah, interesting to hear.
