Im thinking of upgrading my 2gb 960 to a 1060, is this even neccesary?

If I should, should I get this 3gb model:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Gigabyte-nVidia-GeForce-GTX-1060-WindForce-OC-3GB-GDDR5-Graphics-Card-HDMI-DP-/232106105594?hash=item360a9a1afa:g:pPEAAOSwNRdX9yce

or

(The 3gb version costs $280 AUD and the 6gb costs $360 AUD) So is it worth paying $80 extra for 3 more gb or is there more to it.

Also will my cpu bottleneck it at all?
Thanks.

My specs:
GTX 960 2GB, i5 3570k @ 3.4ghz, 8gb RAM, Game on a 1080p monitor.

Your CPU is fine. Unless that card isn't performing as well as you hoped, I'd hold back.

Nonetheless there is a pretty big performance improvement given between the two ; http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-960-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB/3165vs3639 Userbenchmark isn't spot-on but it usually gives a general idea of improvements.

The 3 GB has weaker cores and overall processing. Anyways unless you have a disposable budget I wouldn't chase unless you're not liking the 960, in which case I'd get the 6 GB 1060 if you can comfortably afford it. That's me though... anyways it should give high frames / settings easy and be supported longer.
