Hello,
I have 4 sticks of ram. But my pc only POSTs with 2.

I bought 2 kits of ram, each being 2x2Gb. It worked fine the first time I inserted them all. But randomly I started getting problems (The fans would spin at maximum speed whenever I tried to turn the pc on). I tried removing 2 of the sticks, and it worked since them.
But it's really bad to have 8Gb available but only be able to use half.
I've tested every stick on every slot separatedly and they all worked. So both the slots and the sticks are fine (I guess).
I also used the matching sticks from each kit on the same-colored slots.

I don't remember my motherboard, but I'm sure it doesn't support the 1600Mhz speed for the rams (I didn't know to look for that the time I bought them).

What can be the problem? They worked all together once, why don't they work any longer?

Thank you for your time and attention. Hope some one knows the solution.

My motherboard is "Lenovo ThinkCentre M90p" according to AIDA64.
The BIOS does not seem to have 'advanced' configuration for RAM voltage and timing.
The BIOS type is 'AMI EFI' version '5JKT50AUS'

The RAM sticks are Corsair XMS3s. 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24 1.65V ver8.16

My CPU is a DualCore Intel Core i5-650, 3233 MHz

I've done some research and couldn't find updates available for my MOBO. Maybe I should try changing MOBOs?
And how come the setup (4 sticks of ram) used to work and never worked again? Since I didn't nor couldn't have changed the BIOS configurations?

Thanks for the help!
