I'm not sure whether to get a new GPU or a new motherboard and Intel CPU. What upgrade would be the best for under $200 for gaming? Thanks in advance!

Solution
A new video card would make the biggest immediate impact. You could get a 3GB 1060 or possibly a 4GB 480 for around $200.

I would wait until your budget is closer to $300 to upgrade to Intel or Zen because you would need new RAM too.

I did an i5 styled build with a different GPU. Kept everything else just about the same. I would definitely recommend an Intel CPU > AMD

I could be wrong, but the way I read it, he already had all of the parts he listed above. Maybe the OP can clarify.

Yeah sorry, I should have clarified. I already have all the build that I listed, not building a new PC just looking to upgrade.
