Need help with ram compatibility

Solution
If the CPU can carry it, it can run at 3000 on the ST. Will probably need a K model CPU and may take a slight CPU OC to run at full 3000. Otherwise (again depending on the individual CPU) can prob set to 2800, 2666 or whatever if it can't carry 3000
No the RAM should be fine. I'm assuming your going for an all white build theme? otherwise I would opt for some cheaper RAM, IMO. The RAM will run at stock speeds and voltages, but with that set that you have listed, it can run up to DDR4-3000 when the right conditions are met.

Personally I'm not much of a "Theme" kind of builder, so I tend to find what works in my budget and get the most performance for my $ :)

It looks like your RAM is on the QVL list :)

Check out the QVL link above. The Mobo supports the set he listed. It may not run at the 3000 speed, but the RAM is supported to work on the Mobo.

I will be getting a 6600k so i belive it is base clock method that will be giving it higher speed(so sorry if i am wrong)

Is this correct?

The defining factor is the strength of the MC (memory controller). i.e. at stock my 6600k can run 32GB of 3200 DRAM, but to run 64GB takes a bit of an OC of the CPU. Have seen some 6600Ks that need a CPU OC just to run 2800 - so it really depends on the individual 6600K you have

but if i plan to get this ram with this mobo it will turn on, the speed will just be slower?
