Hi everyone,

I've recently realized how badly my GPU and CPU heat up when I'm gaming. The temperatures i'm about to tell you is basically overkill.
GPU: 80 to 90°C
CPU: 90 to 100°C
I can quickly order the Corsair Hydra H60 with a good thermal paste and solve the CPU's heating problem. But what can I do to reduce my GPU's temperature?
The case I have is an Antec V1.

actually i did it a few months ago when i installed a new HDD. But this was done at a service center using a high speed blower and i don't have it right now. Recommend a few tips to clean at home?

atleast grab a duster and use it on your fans, case gpu and cpu if you have an air compressor/ can of air it would be even better, but a duster works in a pinch, and if you have filters on your case take them out run them through water and let them dry in front of a fan / heater/ ac for the night

and how many case fans do you have, and what ones push air out and what ones pull air in ? the configuration can actually affect temps quite alot. if you just have 1 case fan in there like antec sells it that might be the issue, not enough case airflow, causing overheating in general

there is no point in buying a aio water cooler, even that will overheat if the inside of the case is to warm!

what if i add another 120mm fan to the side of the case? would it be enough with the case fan?

if your gonna try to get by with 1 extra fan i would go with a 120mm on the top using it to push air out of the case

the fact is i can add 3 fans in total. one on the side, and i guess i can put a dual fan setup on the top and one more at the back.

Well then, I guess my problems solved! Thank you so much. Btw, what kind of temp decrease would I be looking at if I install 3 fans and 2 fans?

People seem to be complaining it's too noisy. Is it really that noisy? Plus I have to consider it since I'm planning to install 3 of them xD

Also, I have a Z87-A motherboard. It says it has 3 case fan headers. It basically means I can fit 3 of these fans right?

Got it! Thanks again. So one on the top and one on the side? Or one on the top and one on the back?
