Hi there Eko300,

Texture loading, could be affected by the drive's performance. They are installed on the HDD right? Can you install a game on your SSD?

You can test your hard drive as well: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
If there's something wrong with it, just back up the data stored.

Your MOBO drivers are up to date right?

If the game runs fine on your SSD but not on the HDD, you can try swapping cables and ports as well.

Cheers,
D_Know_WD :)

Hello!

I have a similar problem with my build, try upgrading your RAM to 16GB using dual channel, this should help your issue,

I plan on upgrading my 8GB RAM soon because of this, what is happening is because of your 970 and my 1060, we set our presets to very high for our games which is fair enough, our GPU's can handle this, but when it comes to RAM it cannot, also when driving fast on GTA you will experience stuttering.

Try this: upgrade to 16GB RAM and all should be solved :)

No problem, to make sure of this put your GTA settings to high only and tone down some settings and play for a bit, notice the no stuttering now?

Same thing happened to me too, more RAM is the answer :D

Hmm interesting, in this case then maybe turn down your graphical settings and see if you get the issue then, lower settings will put less of a stress on your components and if that solves the issue then we will have to look at your GPU, CPU and RAM usage.

How old is the PC? If it is still under a year old and in warranty, then contact the company that made the PC and they should be able to look at it for you because in this case if turning down the graphics settings does not help then instead of pulling the PC apart yourself and voiding your warranty, you should have a word with the manufacturer and they should be able to further assist you. :)

It is 4 months old, but I have lost the bill. Already talked to the company. They won't do anything...

OK, so it's not the GPU and it's not the drives, it wouldn't be the RAM because if it was you would be getting BSOD's and crashes....so it's either the motherboard or PSU, has your PC been slow at all? We need to rule out the CPU :/
