Hi all,

Building a system for my Nephew. Been out of the scene for about 5 years and have no clue what's good anymore.

Approximate Purchase Date:

ASAP

Budget Range:

~£800 all in (incl. Shipping if possible)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (e.g.: Folding@Home, gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies):

- Gaming
- Surfing the web
- School work

Are you buying a monitor:

Yes

Do you need to buy OS:

Yes (Windows)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:

Don't care (UK only though please)

Location:

United Kingdom, England

Parts Preferences:

Intel CPU

Overclocking:

Don't care

SLI or Crossfire:

Don't care

Your Monitor Resolution:

The largest for the budget

Additional Comments:

Buying literally every component (including monitor and other peripherals). A case window would be nice.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading:

My nephew wants a gaming PC (his first one). Must be able to run latest games on High at 60FPS (in a perfect world, Ultra).

This is my take on a build:

Solution
Yeah, maybe not VAT, but just the list price is off for some (Novatech store specifically); the Kingston HX421C14FBK2/16 said to be £67.99 but is actually £79.99 (many of the RAM options from Novatech have their prices particularly off), the EVGA 500B ~£52.99, i5 6500 ~ £203.99, Seagate ~£46.98.

Reviews seem good so far: "Cheap and reliable".
