Specs: Gtx 970, MSI 970 gaming motherboard, fx 8350 cpu, CX 600W PSU, Bitfenix Nova case, 1tb Seagate barracuda hdd, 8gb crucial ballistix sport ddr3 ram, a wireless network card, hyper 212 evo cpu cooler.

So my pc was bootlooping one month ago after a failed overclock, then i tryed all differensiert ram combinations, clearing dust. Clearing CMOS several times (with taking out the battery idk if same effect. And occasionally it would turn on and let me reboot coupple times but, then Maybe after third or forth reboot it would start to bootloop again. The bootloop goes like this: Cpu and gpu fans turn on for a second and the wireless internet LED lights up for a second and same with HDD motherboard LED lights up. (Exactly samme issue now) Last time i just plugged it into my brothers psu in the end and i started. Plugged in my psu and it still worked fine. So then it started working for a month and i thought everything was good. But then i just normally turned it off when i was going to school. But when I came home it started to bootloop again, this time i checked all posible ram configurations too i checked my AMD cpu to see if it was put in correctly. And same thing happend, it would occasionally bot after switching some ram but that just seemed to be random as it didnt keep working. Anyone got tips or clues of what the problem might be.

Would be very much appreciated

This part sounds to me like the possible cause... have you replaced the PSU for more than just a boost?.. Well, it's not exactly a boost but it can preload motherboard capacitors for a successfull boot. PSUs can fail with different symptoms.. one is they can become weak, and can fail to supply enough power to boot a computer. It's the same situation as when a computer needs to boot twice before it completes loading...

Nothing is overclocked right now, but i have history of a undervolt oc but i reset that overclock immedieatly when i got my pc back up. And i tried to run a memtest but i cant get my computer to boot for more then a split second so that didnt do anything.

I think the BIOS is up to date but im trying to give it the latest update via USB but as said i sadly cant get anything to boot, any ideas?

My brother has a r9 290 but idk if i am allowed to borrow it as he is at his computer most of the time and doesnt understand fully why i would borrow it. And if it would bot afterwards it might just be random.

It's the same situation as when a computer needs to boot twice before it completes loading Windows. I had a computer with this double boot symptom for a while and the PSU finally failed. Without buying a new PSU you could temporarily interchange the PSU with your brother... either your computer may work normally.. or not and you'll know it's not the PSU. Your brother's computer may bootloop, it may load Windows after a second reboot, or it may work normally for a while... but you'll know if the PSU is the cause or not.

So you are saying if i plug it into my brothers psu and it Boots and i plug it into my old one and it still boots. Its my psu ? Thats what i did last and my psu survived for around 1 month is that posible Even for a failing psu?
We cant swap psu s as his gpu needs more power then mine would 600w be fine for r9 290?

And i have had random occasions where my pc would boot once just after changing some ram, but now it never does that so it almost sees random if its gonna boot or not.

Got it to bot but it wouldn't post on screen or give mouse power so turned off cleared CMOS etc and then BOOTloops without it Even making my gpu fans spin

I will but btw. I got to try my brothers when he sent to training and i tryed 5 times and and it worked every time it was plugged into his psu and when i plugged mine in it bootloops so thank god it wasnt anything Else.

I kinda want to sell my pc and buy Intel rx 470 or gtx 1060 3gb build (have gotten offers covering Those builds) so i wondered what would be the cheapest and best gtx 970 that provins enough power for my gtx 970?

He didnt have a spare 550 watt only lower. But would this one be good enough quality for me or is it worth saving more for a better one? https://www.komplett.no/product/847390/datautstyr/stroemforsyning/enheter/corsair-vs550-550w-psu#

Check the links for PSU to Graphics Card power requirements.. check both charts and compare, if they should have different values, take the higher value for best performance. If the Corsair VS550, 550W PSU meets requirements to run the video card you want, it's what you should get.

CORSAIR calculator recommendes 600-650 psu s for my specs. But i have experienced and heard that cx psu s are bad quality and the vs 550 apparently is too. Little. So got any recommendations on psu s i could buy that are good quality. Because i am gonna have to take that CORSAIR calculator result with a grain of salt

Dont think i can spend 850norwegian kroners on a psu around 100 dollars since stuff is expensive here. But i found this 600w gold certified psu from evga for 600 kroners with no shipping.
