Looking for an os in a new build pc

Which os should i take for a gaming build? Im also a new pc builder
Win 10 or linux distro(Ubuntu or mint)

My motherboard is MSI B150 Mortar

It would be advisable to a new pc builder to install a win10 or linux?
Plus i consider a safe and secured pc.

Gaming Build = Windows 10.

Yeah there are some Linux games, but theres WAY WAY WAY WAY more Win 10 games.

Windows 10 is a great operating system for games. Also if you own an Xbox One then get Windows 10. If you were to buy a game on whatever platform you can play that game on the other platform.
For Example: Bought Gear Of War 4 on PC and Could Play It For Free On Xbox.

There's also tons more of software and security in Windows 10. You can get it for around $25 online....

Do not buy $25 Windows keys online. They are sold against Microsoft's TOS and we have had users here have their keys invalidated or received bad keys when buying from these places.

Huh. Yah I've never had issues with mine but i got mine from Microcenter for the $100 but both my friends recently bought their keys off of Kinguin and they havent had issues. I would stay away from G2A though. Any users have issues with Kinguin? I've had pretty good experience from them as long as you buy from a verified user...

G2A doesn't seem to sell them (at cheap prices) anymore last I checked. Kinguin still sells them, I have found that place to be the shadier of the 2 sites. We have had users have issues with Kinguin keys, and those from other places. Things like Windows showing as Genuine one day the next day not and then back again.

Well that's odd. I've never had an issue with them.
Anyways you can't go wrong with buying a legitimate copy for $100 from Microcenter or something.
